The Town of Bedford is very conveniently located in Middlesex County, about
fifteen miles northwest of Boston. Commuting to and from Boston is made easy
because of the M.B.T.A. Taxi. People also choose to commute via car, or shuttle.
For people traveling to places other than Boston, the Logan Express connects to
Boston’s Logan Airport.
Bedford has a rich history and they are rightly proud of that history — they
have the oldest flag in the country, among other artifacts. The town is also
very conscious of conservation and they have saved rivers, ponds, fields and
forests saved as conservation lands.

also many open spaces with walking trails and bikeways as well as athletic
fields and parks for recreation. Tennis, softball, baseball, football and soccer
are just some of the sports available to young and old alike!
In 2002, Bedford’s population was at 12,571, up from the previous census.
